This sweater is pretty much the embodiment of everything that comes to mind when you say "ski lodge sweater". I'll admit that I didn't know this particular pattern is a Nordic thing, it's just that same type of look you see in just about every scene of rich people sitting around a crackling fire eating fondue.
Being that this is a KAPITAL sweater, things aren't going to be exactly run-of-the-mill. The bulk of this sweater is pretty standard fair, with a 5-gauge wool knit forming the aforementioned pattern on the chest and around the cuffs. Compared to the cheap knock-offs this is properly woven, with a good amount of texture within the pattern itself. The KAPITAL flavour comes from the elbow patches – not particularly impressive normally – which are KAPITAL's cheeky "RAIN SMILE" mascot. There's something about the juxtaposition of a classic sweater with those yellow smiley patches on the elbows that works oh-so-well.
